David A. Schnirman (Sound Designer/Mix Engineer) is excited to be coming back to Little Island this season and working with the fabulous Mx. Bond. Last summer, David worked on the Little Island production of Arthur Russell, Platform on the Sea with Thomas Bartlett. David designed the sound for Justin Vivian Bond’s Flaming September performances at St. Ann’s Church in Brooklyn. He also worked on the concert version of Rufus Wainwright’s Opening Night at The Town Hall in Manhattan. David has collaborated on sound with many musicians including: Lara Downes, Gogol Bordello, Ollabelle, Amy Helm, Rosanne Cash, Peter Wolf, Laurie Anderson, Anohni, Lou Reed, Rhiannon Giddens, David Byrne, Ornette Coleman, and producer Hal Wilner, to name a few. David has designed productions for The New York Shakespeare Festival, Arena Stage, Syracuse Stage, St. Ann’s Warehouse, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Spoleto Festival. He also teaches live sound engineering at Ramapo College of New Jersey. David is looking forward to coming back to Little Island later this season for Thomas Bartlett’s celebration of Allen Ginsberg.

Christopher Rao is a stylist, costumer, and retailer whose practice combines a love of historical dress with a keen edit of current fashion. He has collaborated with a diverse roster of brands from Dior and Dries Van Noten to Erdem, Prounis, and Ralph Rucci. Stage credits include Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater, The Cooper Union, Café Carlyle, St. Ann’s Warehouse and Town Hall. He works with private styling clients in the U.S. and abroad. Christopher is a co-founder of the vintage shop R. T. Stewart, based in New York, opening autumn 2026.

Founded in Antwerp in 1986 by Dries Van Noten, the house is celebrated for refined tailoring, distinctive prints, and a timeless approach to texture, colour and silhouette that sits beyond seasonal trends. Today the brand’s ready-to-wear, accessories, beauty and fragrance lines are available worldwide through a global network of boutiques, wholesale partners and online. Creative Director Julian Klausner has stewarded the house into its next chapter. Born in Belgium and trained at La Cambre, Brussels, Julian joined the studio, rose to lead the womenswear team and became a close collaborator of Dries. Since then, Julian Klausner’s vision has become a living continuation of the house’s heritage, honoring its legacy while reinterpreting its codes through innovation and craftsmanship.

Founded in 2014, Charlap Hyman & Herrero is an architecture and design firm with studios in Los Angeles, New York, and Mexico City. Principals Adam Charlap Hyman and Andre Herrero lead a multifaceted practice that considers all aspects of the built environment, from site plan to furniture, delving into a diverse range of media. The firm has designed sets for the Santa Fe Opera and The Juilliard School and stores for Aesop and Moda Operandi. In 2018, CHH introduced an ever-growing line of textiles and rugs with F. Schumacher & Co, alongside collections of lighting and furniture produced independently. Their discipline-bending exhibitions for Jeffrey Deitch and Hauser & Wirth, among others, meld their curatorial practice with ambitious scenography. Residential projects, spanning ground-up architecture to sensitive restorations and interiors, have provided opportunities to collaborate with other leading firms and expand on the legacies of houses by I.M. Pei to Stanford White. In 2026, CHH won the Smithsonian National Design Award for their work in Interior Design, and the firm ranks among Architectural Digest’s “AD100,” Elle Decor’s “A-List,” and PIN-UP Magazine’s “New Power Generation”.
