About this Performance

Suzan-Lori Parks’ nine-piece band, SLP & The Joyful Noise, is her test kitchen. In this musical performance of Parks’ new series she throws a party in that kitchen.

This is a bring-your-drinks, make new friends, dance-in-the-aisles kind of night. With big sounds and bold ideas, Parks joyfully reminds us the importance of remembering who we are.
