Levain Bakery was founded in 1995 by friends and accomplished bakers Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald, who started with a small bread shop on West 74th Street in NYC before accidentally creating their now-iconic chocolate chip walnut cookie as a high-energy triathlon training snack. Over the past 30 years, Levain has grown from a beloved neighborhood destination into a bakery with locations across the country, with a team dedicated to using the best ingredients to bring joy to cookie lovers everywhere.
