Little Island was created with the belief that public space should be for everyone.
Through on-site programming and local partnerships, we engage, educate and employ New Yorkers while creating experiences rooted in art, nature and community. We collaborate with neighborhood schools, city agencies, and cultural organizations to expand access to performances, provide meaningful job opportunities for young people, and offer space to connect with nature in the heart of the city.
