Little Island seeks a Park Operations Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the Park Operations department. This team is responsible for park maintenance, custodial services, safety, access control, logistics, storage, and capital facilities projects.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with a strong sense of hospitality and commitment to ensuring smooth daily operations. They will play a key role in maintaining inventory, processing expenses, and coordinating logistics that support a clean, safe, and well-maintained park environment. This position reports to the Park Operations Associate.
About the Role
- Hourly Rate: $25.00
- Job Type: Temporary
- Employment Classification: Part-Time, Non-exempt
- Schedule Expectations: This role works Tuesday– Saturday, up to 24 hours a week
- Work Environment: Onsite job with work taking place in both the headquarters office and Little Island Park.
- Start Date: June 30, 2025
- End Date: September 26, 2025

What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Park Operations department by generating reports, organizing documentation, and communicating departmental updates via appropriate Zoom channels.
- Track, order, and stock essential park supplies—including first aid kits, custodial items, and snacks/break room essentials—while maintaining adequate backstock in coordination with park supervisors and the administrative team.
- Submit and reconcile invoices with the Finance team, ensuring accurate and timely expense reporting.
- Maintain excellent communication between the field and office, ensuring the departments are fully supported with real-time access to organizational and employee information resources.
- Research and source new products & tools to support operations.
- Assist with inventory and distribution of Park signage and help maintain Park Operations hand-held radios, including distribution and tracking.
- Update Safety Data Sheets and maintain an up-to-date index.
- Transport deliveries, packages, and materials between the headquarters office and the park.
- Participate in weekly Park Operations Admin team meetings.
- Support other operations-related tasks as assigned.
What You Bring
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative or operations support role.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and efficiency.
- Ability to learn quickly and work with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, SharePoint) and Airtable.
- Ability to transport/lift materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and holidays as needed.
- Fluence in Spanish is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to excellence and teamwork.
