Waterwell

Students from the Waterwell Drama Program at NYC’s Professional Performing Arts School present a medley of their original work, from monologues rooted in social justice to stunning visual albums. Waterwell, in residence in the public school system now for over 12 years, creates and teaches performance that grapples with complex civic questions through engrossing stories, completely tuition-free. To fully explore the impact that theater and performance can have on the forces that shape our society, each project and each choice are filtered through the lens of the Artist as Citizen. Come see some of our most promising young artists as they examine the culture and history of their communities and share visions for the change they would like to see in our world.
