All Day

OUR SECOND ANNUAL STORYTELLING FESTIVAL
Tales Of All Types, Stories For All Ages

There are so many ways to tell a story. Around a campfire, with hushed voices; on a stage, through song or spoken word; or even with no sound at all – just movement and expression. Stories are defined as “accounts of imaginary or real people and events,” but they are so much more than that. Stories help us escape the everyday, understand who we are, and dream about who we want to be.

Little Island is excited to present our second annual Storytelling Festival, once again curated by Artists-In-Residence Pigpen Theater Company – a “delightful” (The New York Times) company of theatrical “geniuses” (The New Yorker). Join us as we further expand the boundaries of narrative, animating and activating every stage and space of our park with tales of all types and stories for all ages.
