Davis presents ” How to Mourn an American: Stories, Reflections, and Bars. Join Multi-Disciplinary Poet, Playwright, and Teaching artist Cherrye J. Davis as she shares selections from her solo -show “How to Mourn an American”, a humorous and healing exploration of loss and rebirth in America, hearing voices from The Civil War to the 2019 Pandemic, from 7 years young to 135 years timeless , from sea to shining sea.  Originally developed With Public Theater and Rough Draft Festival 2019 before the 2019 pandemic, Cherrye is thrilled to share new stories, poems, and reflections on life, laughter, and the pursuit of liberty.
