MICHAEL MCELROY – Artist-in-Residence Broadway: Sunday in the Park with George (2017 revival), Disaster! (vocal arr:) Next To Normal, Rent, The Wild Party, Big River (Tony Nom), The Who’s Tommy, Street Corner Symphony (vocal arr:), Miss Saigon, Patti LuPone on Broadway, and High Roller Social Pleasure Club. New York Philharmonic: Candide. National Tour:  Next to Normal, Rent, Big River Sarafina. Michael is the Founder/Musical Director Emeritus of Broadway Inspirational Voices(BIV) www.bivoice.org. In 2019 Michael accepted his second Tony Award Honor for Excellence in the Theater on behalf of BIV from the American Theater Wing. Michael was nominated for a Grammy in 2005 for “Joy to the World” arrangement of BIV’s first holiday CD “Great Joy: A Gospel Christmas”. Michael compositions and arrangements have been performed at The Kennedy Center, Constitution Hall, Lincoln Center, Crystal Cathedral as well as churches and concert halls around the world. Michael received 2020 Alumni Achievement Award from his alma mater Carnegie Mellon. He also received the 2022 North Campus Dean’s Martin Luther King Spirit Award and the 2022 SMTD Diversity Equity and Inclusion Award. Michael currently serves as Chair of the Department of Musical Theatre, University of Michigan

AISHA DE HAAS – Aisha de Haas was recently seen in SUFFS at The Public Theater and as Medda Larkin in the 1st National Tour of Disney’s Newsies as well as the “live-capture” movie. AISHA JACKSON – Aisha Jackson is honored to share the stage with these amazing, legendary women! Broadway credits include: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Waitress (OBC), Paradise Square (OBC), and Frozen (OBC), where she made history as the first Black Anna on Broadway! Aisha is committed to creating more roles on Broadway for Black women to lead and shine bright because representation matters. Luke 1:37

CAPATHIA JENKINS – Currently she is enjoying a busy concert schedule with symphony orchestras in the US and Abroad. Broadway credits include Newsies, Martin Short Fame Becomes Me, Caroline,or Change Off Broadway she is a Drama Desk Nominee for mis Understanding Mammy The Hattie McDaniel Story. PHYLICIA RASHAD – An accomplished actress and stage director, became a household name when she portrayed ‘Claire Huxtable’ on The Cosby Show, a character whose enduring appeal has earned numerous awards and honors for over two decades. Film and television credits include: Jingle Jangle, Pixar’s Soul and Black Box, A Fall From Grace, Creed and Creed II, For Colored Girls; This is Us (three Emmy nominations), David Makes Man, and Empire. Inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame in 2016, Ms. Rashad received Tony and Drama Desk Awards for her performances as ‘Faye’ in Skeleton Crew and ‘Lena Younger’ in A Raisin in the Sun, the Lucille Lortel Award for her performance as ‘Shelah’ in Head of Passes, and a Tony nomination for her portrayal of ‘Aunt Ester’ in August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean. Ms. Rashad has directed plays by Pearl Cleage ( Blues For An Alabama Sky), August Wilson ( Gem of the Ocean, Fences, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone), Stephen Adly Guirgis, ( Our Lady of 121st Street) and Paul Oakley Stovall (Immediate Family) at prestigious regional and 0ff-Broadway Theaters. Rashad, who serves as Co-Chair of the Advisory Council for the African American Cultural Heritage Fund, is currently Dean of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts at Howard University.

ANASTASIA TALLEY – Anastasia Talley is currently making her return to Broadway in MJ The Musical! She recently made her Broadway debut in Girl From The North Country. Her NYC credits include Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular and Public Works’ Hercules. She is also a proud member of Broadway Inspirational Voices. Education: MM (Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music), BME (University of Southern MS). Talley is also a singer/songwriter, and her debut single “Hello” is available on iTunes and Spotify. LILLIAS WHITE – Lillias White made her Broadway debut in Barnum. She has also appeared on Broadway in Cats, Carrie, Dreamgirls, Once On This Island, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Chicago and FELA! (Tony nomination). For her role in Cy Coleman’s The Life, she won the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle Award and the Tony Award (Best Featured Actress In A Musical). She also appeared in concert at the Kennedy Center, Jazz@Lincoln Center, Lincoln Center, and many times at Carnegie Hall. White’s television appearances include a regular role on “Sesame Street” (for which she won and Emmy Award), “Gotham,” “Person of Interest,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Law & Order,” and the recurring role of Fat Annie on the NETFLIX show, The Get Down. Her screen credits include The Lead Muse in Disney’s animated feature, “Hercules,” “Anastasia,” and more.

NIKISHA WILLIAMS – Is originally from Mobile, Alabama. She holds a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting and a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from The University of Southern Mississippi. Williams also spent three years as Director of Choirs at White Station High School in Memphis, TN where she received the Outstanding Young Music Educator award. Her Regional Theater credits include: The Color Purple; Memphis; Hairspray. Broadway touring credits include: The Color Purple(Swing/Celie U/S); Hamilton(Ensemble/Schuyler Sisters U/S).
