Audrey Chen / Gabrielle Chou: Instrumental Music

Audrey Chen and Gabrielle Chou are NY-based solo and chamber musicians dedicated to sharing the process of musical discovery and collaboration with the rest of the world. They met and started playing together in 2015 at the Sarasota Music Festival and are both currently doctoral students at the CUNY Graduate Center, where Audrey studied with Marcy Rosen and Gabrielle studied with Jerome Lowenthal and Richard Goode. Audrey is a 2022 P.D. Soros Fellow and received her Bachelor’s from Harvard University and Master’s in Music from the New England Conservatory. Her appearances include soloing with the Seattle Symphony and the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, and at Music@Menlo, Perlman Music Program, and Tanglewood Music Center. Gabrielle was the winner of the Center of Musical Excellence’s 2018 International Performing Artists Grant and received her Bachelor’s and Master’s from The Juilliard School. Her appearances include soloing with the Vienna International Orchestra and National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, and at the Aspen Music Festival and School, Music Academy of the West, and Avaloch Music Institute.
