Ticketing FAQs

Little Island presents performances and events in multiple venues in the park—The Amph, The Glade, and in The Play Ground. Many of these events are free and require no registrations or tickets. When timed entry is in effect, be sure to plan your visit in advance.

In accordance with current New York State and CDC guidance, we can seat our full house capacity of 687 guests in The Amph. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests can attend these events. All unvaccinated guests will be required to wear their masks when they cannot maintain 6-feet of distance from others. Children under the age of 2 are not required to wear a mask.

Please do not visit Little Island or attend any of our performances if you have received a positive Covid-19 diagnosis in the last 10 days or if you are feeling any symptoms of Covid-19. If you can no longer attend a performance due to these reasons, please email ticketing@littleisland.org so we can issue a refund.

How do I buy tickets to a performance?
Tickets may be purchased online here. Tickets are not sold on-site in the park.

Little Island partners with The Theater Development Fund (TDF) to sell discounted tickets to their membership base of arts professionals, students, teachers, seniors, military, and more. To learn more about a TDF membership, visit www.tdf.org.

How much are tickets?
Tickets are $65 for adults, and $25 for seniors over 62 and under 12.

Why are there ticket fees?
There is a $4 processing fee per transaction to cover costs associated with purchasing tickets, including credit and debit card processing services and merchant fees.

Do I need a timed entry reservation to enter the park in addition to a performance ticket?
No. You can show your performance ticket to enter the park at any time that day.

Can I purchase group tickets? Is there a discount?
Up to 10 tickets may be purchased at a time but we do not offer a group discount, in the interest of ensuring that individuals can access our performances. If you are interested in bringing a larger group to a performance, please contact ticketing@littleisland.org.

Does my child need a ticket?
Yes. All children age three and older must have a ticket and must have their own seat. Children under three may sit on a parent’s lap during a performance. No strollers are allowed in The Amph, so please keep that in mind when bringing children to performances.

Why can't I choose my own seats?
All events in The Amph are general admission. As such, seating is selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

Will the ticketed event I attend be at full capacity?
Yes, in accordance with New York State and CDC guidelines Little Island can host ticketed events at full capacity.

Do I need to be fully vaccinated to attend a ticketed event at Little Island?
No, both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests can attend a ticketed event. All unvaccinated guests will be required to wear their masks while in The Amph.

What counts as fully vaccinated?
The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after receiving the second dose of a two-dose vaccine series, or two weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Will masks be required?
All unvaccinated guests will be required to wear their masks. Vaccinated guests and children under the age of 2 are not required to wear a mask.

Will the ticketed event I attend require social distancing?
No, social distancing is not required.

How do I get to The Amph?
Little Island’s North Bridge entrance is the quickest way to get to The Amph. The Amph is located at the northwest corner of the park, past The Play Ground.

What time do “doors” open?
Entrances to The Amph open 30 minutes before a performance.

What if I am going to be late to a performance?
Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of Little Island staff to minimize disruptions to the performance.

What is the smoking policy at Little Island?
There is no smoking, vaping, or use of e-cigarettes on Little Island.

Are pets allowed?
With the exception of working dogs assisting patrons with disabilities, pets are not permitted.

Will my bag be inspected before entering The Amph?
For safety reasons, Little Island reserves the right to inspect bags and other items brought into The Amph.

Do you have accessible seating?
Yes. The Amph has 8 wheelchair accessible seating options, in addition to supporting devices and services. The entire park is ADA compliant.

How do I reserve a wheelchair accessible seat?
To reserve wheelchair accommodation in The Amph, please email ticketing@littleisland.org to check availability.

How do I request other accessible devices?
For assistive listening devices, please request from a Visitor Experience usher upon getting your ticket scanned.

What happens if there’s an inclement weather event?
To the best of our ability, Little Island’s events will take place rain or shine. From time to time, some shows may have their start times changed, be rescheduled, or canceled due to severe weather or unforeseen issues. All ticket holders will be notified of any such changes. Unless you hear directly from us, all shows will go on as scheduled. Please be sure to follow us on social media for all of the latest performance updates.

Are food and drinks allowed in The Amph?
You’re welcome to enjoy outside food and drinks in our park spaces. Concessions and beverages are also available for purchase in The Play Ground prior to the performance.

May I bring a camera to take photos and/or record video/music?
You may take photos with no flash, but no DSLRs, professional cameras, GoPros, or large recording devices will be allowed. We may discourage the use of cameras during certain shows—put those phones away and engage with what’s happening on stage!

Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?
Yes. If you can’t use your tickets, you may forward your e-ticket to a friend for use.

I can't find my tickets or reservations, what do I do?
If you created a login upon reserving or purchasing your ticket, you can access your account at littleisland.org/account. Otherwise, email ticketing@littleisland.org for assistance.

What if I’m unable to attend my performance?
If you cannot use your tickets, please consider transferring them to a friend. No refunds will be given unless a performance is cancelled in its entirety, with no replacement performance scheduled.

Do you have open rehearsals?
We will often have rehearsals in The Amph throughout the week. If you’re in the park, we invite you to come in to get a sneak peek at the process.

How is Little Island working to keep visitors safe and healthy?
Little Island staff have been working in accordance with CDC guidelines to define the process, procedures and protocols implemented at our spaces. Little Island is taking extensive measures around workforce training, safety, environmental hygiene and our visitors. We believe your safety and that of our staff is of the utmost importance.
