Little Island Celebrates Pride

Little Island invites you to celebrate Pride with free events and programming for all ages. In celebration of Pier 54's history and its ties to the LGBTQIA+ community in New York City, our free arts activities and pop up performances occurring throughout the park will center around Pride.

New Victory LabWorks feat. RudduR Dance
Sunday, June 20 at 3 pm in The Glade
Hosted by The New Victory Theater, this series provides a space where BIPOC artists experiment, create, and develop family programming for the stage.

Sunset Sounds feat. Marcus Paul James
Wednesday, June 23 at 6 pm in The Glade
Enjoy an evening of soul music performed by singer-songwriter Marcus Paul James.

Little Library feat. The Free Black Women's Library
Friday, June 25 at 3 pm in The Glade
Borrow a book and take a literary break with Free Black Women’s Library in The Glade. The theme for this Friday is Liberation.

Tina & Friends: BYOB (Bring Your Own Beautiful) - SOLD OUT

On June 26, Artist-in-Residence Tina Landau hosts Tina and Friends: BYOB (Bring Your Own Beautiful), a show celebrating Pride month. It is a variety show, a concert, and an intimate party rolled into one, and we invite you to join the festivities by bringing YOUR own “beautiful.” This is a free ticketed event.

Little Island will be open from 6 am to 12 pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

All events are free, but a timed entry reservation is required to enter the park from 12 pm through the remainder of the day. Reserve here.
