Art Cart
The Art Cart is Little Island’s mobile hub for DIY artmaking. When stationed in The Glade, visitors are welcome to check out digital step-by-step instructions for featured activities to do. The Art Cart is also stocked with art supplies and movement-based games for when inspiration strikes.

Creative Break
Join us for weekly artmaking activities for all ages with Little Island’s teaching artists. Partner organizations like the Children’s Museum of the Arts, The New Victory Theater, and The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Art will also lead Creative Breaks throughout the season.

Little Library
Borrow a book and take a literary break with one of our partner organizations, including The Free Black Women’s Library, Women in Comics NYC, and Teatro SEA.

New Victory LabWorks
The New Victory Theater hosts New Victory LabWorks, a space where BIPOC artists experiment and create work. This series provides a behind-the-scenes look at how artists create and develop family programming for the stage.
