Jennifer Jancuska + The BringAbout performs Saturday September 10th as part of the brilliant and inspiring Storytelling Festival. Step into the development process with The BringAbout as we explore and discover stories on their way to becoming full blown musicals and plays. Expect dancing, singing, and live music performed by award winning artists from Broadway, film and TV who have been developing new work with The BringAbout for years!  This includes Taylor Iman Jones, (DEVIL WEARS PRADA), Michelle Veintimilla (GOTHAM), Eddy Lee (HAMILTON), Pierre Marais (ALADDIN), Hannah Corneau (WICKED), Hannah Cruz (SUFF’S, ONLY GOLD), Jarred Bedgood (RENT), Sarah Parker (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR), Max Carmel (ANNEOF GREEN GABLES), Veronica Fiaoni (WEST SIDE STORY), Ali Marconi (GUGGENHEIM Artist), Roddy Kennedy (HAMILTON), Jake Allen Smith, Ian Miller, Jesse Obremski (GIBNEY DANCE, ALVIN AILEY), Melody Giron and Taylor Collins, Sam Pickart, and Matthew Steffens performing new work by Broadway and international writers and composers: Adam Gwon, Max Reuben, Hannah Corneau, Ross Baum, Enrico de Trizio, and Jocelyn Mackenzie. With the stars above us and music surrounding us, together we imagine new possibilities for the making of New York City theatre.

Over half a block of gardens and across
a small street, there is this bright
window that I’d never noticed before.
At the exact eye level of my apartment.
I realized I’d never seen it because
there had always been curtains.
Invisible for years, and all of a sudden,
there’s this bright light, and no curtains.

4 – TAINTED WILD
conceived by Jennifer Jancuska & Enrico de Trizio in collaboration with Michelle Veintimilla. Inspired by luminary, Jonathan Demme and his brilliant use of music in film making. TAINTED LOVE is re-arranged with jazzy inflections and set in the diner scene of Demme’s classic film, SOMETHING WILD.
