Little Island hosts a range of events, all summer long, for visitors of every age, throughout the various spaces of our park. The Amph, our 687 seat performance space facing the Hudson River, hosts ticketed events featuring artists across all disciplines. The Glade, an intimate stage set at the foot of an inviting lawn hosts all free events–music, comedy, and daily arts workshops for visitors of all ages. The Play Ground, our open plaza, offers food and beverage options, pop up performances, and late night programming including Trivia nights, Bingo and sing-a-longs. All events in The Amph require a ticket to guarantee your seat. All seats are general admission.
Our mission is to make our events as accessible to as many visitors as possible. For that reason, 30% of tickets are distributed for free to Little Island’s non-profit partners including the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development, Greenwich House, Hudson Guild, PS 33, The Door, and Westbeth; 30% of tickets are sold at $25 through the Theatre Development Fund and through Little Island’s website for anyone under 25 or over 65; and 30% of tickets are sold through Little Island’s website at $45 for regular price.

On Thursdays, join us for Comedy, Spoken Word or Poetry in The Glade.

Enjoy a friday night out(side) with trivia, drag Bingo, cabaret, piano sing-a-longs and more in The Play Ground.
Saturdays

Saturday nights will be centered around popular music and the American songbook.

Bring the whole family to The Glade for a fun night of kids & family programming sure to become your favorite way to end the week.
Families and friends of all ages can enjoy a range of fun programs to delight and inspire during your visit to Little Island. Learn an art form with our teaching artists during our free Creative Breaks, and find our Art Cart for DIY activities! Sundays in the park are always curated for the family crowd featuring lively artists like The Acrobuffos, The Rock and Roll Playhouse, Spellbound Theatre, and more.
