Attend an Event

Summer 2022

In our second summer of programming, we hosted over 200 artists representing a range of disciplines including – dance, circus, theater, music, magic, poetry, comedy and more. We held ticketed events in The Amph, our 687-seat performance space facing the Hudson River, featuring Seth Meyers, Idina Menzel, Arturo O’Farrill, Tonya Pinkins, Matthew Whittaker, and more. Plus we held free events in The Glade, an intimate stage set at the foot of an inviting lawn and The Play Ground, our open plaza, with Flamenco y Sol, NY Trivia League, Pigeonwing Dance, Magic Eric Q, and more. Thanks to all who attended and we look forward to seeing you next summer.

While the majority of our programming is free, our events in The Amph are ticketed. Our mission is to make our events as accessible to as many visitors and for that reason, 30% of tickets are distributed for free to Little Island’s non-profit partners including the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development, Greenwich House, Hudson Guild, PS 33, The Door, and Westbeth; 30% of tickets are sold at low cost through the Theatre Development Fund and through Little Island’s website for anyone under 25 or over 65; and 30% of tickets are sold through Little Island’s website at Fair market value.
