Little Island is an award-winning public park, located in Hudson River Park, where all New Yorkers and visitors can experience nature and art in a unique urban oasis on the Hudson River.

Celebrate Arbor Day at Little Island!

Join us on Friday, April 26th, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for a park-wide scavenger hunt. Meet members of our horticulture team as you learn about Little Island’s diverse trees and become an official ‘Little Island Explorer.’ After the hunt, get creative with our art making activity, where you can craft nature-inspired art using leaves and twigs to create bugs, butterflies or trees. Don’t forget to purchase our special Arbor Day TREEat Cookie, available at our food kiosks!
